Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My original inspiration is drawn from a few places. I would say I get my musical intellect from my big brother, he’s the reason I make music in the first place. In terms of style, I stitch bits and pieces from everywhere. Bryson Tiller for my RnB flair, Michael Jackson for the energy, Lil Wayne for my double entendres, Caribbean flair - Popcaan, Cash Cobain for beat/sample selection, and Drake for my adaptability. There’s still more but to name a few.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
I believe performing at the Global Citizen Festival would impact my music career positively. For one, the exposure would bring in a lot more streams, potentially get a chance to collaborate with household names, sponsor deals, etc. But most importantly this is an opportunity for me to see how new crowds interact with EazyB and practice a level of professionalism needed for this path.
What would you do with $50,000?
Honestly, I would use part of the 50k to get me a car, then I would reinvest most of it or all back into my brand/independent journey. This would allow me to finish my in home studio, start up a llc + licenses, pay for marketing/distribution, intense visuals, and lastly merch.
