Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My writing style was shaped by artists such as Jay-Z, Lauryn Hill, Em, Frank Ocean, to name a few. I grew up listening to an eclectic mix of genres, so that shaped my genre less approach to music was well.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at such a huge event would give me the exposure and audience I need to amplify my music. The biggest factor in the trajectory of an artist is how many eyeballs they can attract. Having a bigger stage would give me a huge advantage and momentum into the next phase of my career.
What would you do with $50,000?
I have a few creative projects I could bring to fruition if I won the 50k. I am constantly working, creating, but to successfully release a well thought out and executed project, funding is needed.
