Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I absolutely love the production and ability to connect through music behind some “weird and quirky” artists like Glass Animals and Cavetown. My favorite band ever is Pierce The Veil and I take so much from their lyricism. There are many smaller independent artists that I also feel so inspired to be like, such as ivri and her storytelling, and DellaXOZ who writes insanely good and vulnerable music!
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
I desperately need experience and a platform that allows me to experiment my own passions of connection through music. I need to establish myself and where I fit in within my musical niche and build relationships with everyone in that community that I can, I believe getting the opportunity to perform would open all those doors for me
What would you do with $50,000?
I would buy equipment that makes it possible for me to put on amazing shows, and make sure i budget a bunch for marketing and helping to build my brand by working with good producers and artist development. Of course, music will always come first, but having the extra resources to fully realize my ideas will help tremendously.
