Who or what is your musical inspiration?
We’re inspired by Haiti — its rhythm, resilience, and soul. Legends like Ti Manno, Tabou Combo, and our co-founder Shabba (Antenor Hervé), a remarkable figure in Haitian music, fuel our roots. We also draw from global artists who break genres and tell bold stories, from Burna Boy to Bruno Mars. Our mission: to keep Konpa alive, fresh, and global.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at Global Citizen would amplify our message and showcase Haitian culture on a global stage. It’s a chance to share the beauty of Konpa, inspire Haitian youth, and break stereotypes. This opportunity would elevate the band and highlight Haiti’s rich, vibrant music.
What would you do with $50,000?
We’re currently working on our third album. The $50K would help fund a promotional tour, produce music videos, and support a charity in Cap-Haïtien. It’s our way to give back to our roots, uplift our community, and honor everyone voting to bring us to the festival stage.
