Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I'd say a big musical inspiration for me is the Cure. I've always been drawn to music that creates an atmosphere and Robert Smith is someone who never fails at that. He's got an ear for melodies and a haunting voice as well. The Cure has also gotten me through some hard times. I owe them a lot.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It would undoubtedly be a big step for my music career. Having all those eyes on you is an exciting and also frightening prospect. You only get one chance to make an impression and with a venue like that, it'll be a big chance to.
What would you do with $50,000?
I would use a big amount of it to help with my family. We've been struggling a bit recently, so I've just been trying to do everything I can to help. My sister also wants to go on a trip. Winning this money would allow me to be able to send her on that trip.
