Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My inspiration comes from legends like Biggie, Mobb Deep, Joey Badass and Kendrick. Real story tellers that make you feel every bar. I am also deeply influenced by jazz and blues icons like john coltrane, miles davis B.B King and Charlie Parker. Their soul, improvisation and emotion helped shaped how I approach rhythm and truth in my music.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at the Global Citizens festival would be the spark that jumpstarts my real career. The beginning of something greater than me. It's my chance to show the world who I am and what I stand for. I want to change lives with my music and use whatever i build from it to give back, uplift, and lead. This moment would be my first step towards doing just that.
What would you do with $50,000?
I'd leave my 9-5, finish school, and fully invest in my purpose...music. I'd build a studio not just for myself but for my community, to create, collaborate and inspire. That 50k would turn my vision into reality, helping me build something that lasts and pour back into the same energy I was brought up on. This isn't just about me, its about everyone who's on the rise with me.
