Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I am heavily inspired by late 90’s/early 2000’s underground pop and electronic music. Artists like Massive Attack, Bjork, Portishead, Thom York, Dido, Lamb, and Cocteau Twins were pioneers who defied mainstream standards with their sound, and I want to build a lasting legacy the way they did but for today’s generations.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at the Global Citizen Festival would impact my career by exposing my music and artistry to new fans who I think will love what they hear! It would also give me the opportunity to showcase my music in a large stage/festival format the way I have always imagined and prepared for.
What would you do with $50,000?
There are many ways $50,000 would impact my life and artistry in a positive way. I would put aside a portion to go toward a down payment on a house, as that has been my top goal for many years now. I would also use a portion to make improvements to my home recording studio to ensure I have all the best resources and equipment to continue making the best music I can. I would use the remaining portion to work with various talented professionals in creating music videos for all of my best songs!
