Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My dad was my first musical inspiration, teaching me a love of music, songwriting, and performing from the day I was born. My mom has me given me constant support and encouragement to develop my voice and creative skills. All of my grandparents played instruments or sang, and I feel fortunate to carry that gift forward. To me, music is a powerful force for change, healing, and understanding.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at the Global Citizen Festival would be a dream come true. It would bring my message to a wider audience and connect me with people who believe in the transformative power of music. It would give me the platform to bring my vision to life with big sound, bold visuals, and a team to match the heat. More than a show, it’s a chance to uplift, light a fire with every lyric and leave nothing unsaid.
What would you do with $50,000?
I’d invest in finishing and releasing my album with high-quality production, visuals, and promotion. I’d build a team to help get it heard and support my live show with the gear, musicians, costumes, and lights it needs to grow. I’d deepen the impact of my album by inviting community collaboration on an art-music-storytelling project and I’d give back by offering music lessons to students who can’t afford them.
