Who or what is your musical inspiration?
We take our musical inspiration from genres such as neo-soul, alternative music, and some Jazz. Some of our favorite artists include Erykah Badu, Jill Scott, Lizzie McAlpine, The Army, The Navy, Steve Lacy, and Robert Glasper.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at the Global Citizen Music Festival would be an enormous breakthrough in our careers! It would allow so many people from all different places and backgrounds to her our voices and listen to our stories. It would allow for us to be blessed with the opportunity to be in the same rooms as some of the most influential artists and public figures of our time, and would open doors for us and encourage us to keep singing and writing and keep doing the things we’re put on this earth to
What would you do with $50,000?
With 50,000 dollars me and Jay Olivia would both pay off a portion of our student debt and then I would help pay for my grandfathers hospital bills as he is in the hospital with lung cancer. My half will most likely not be enough but I would give what I’d be able to.
