Who will perform at the Global Citizen Festival, appear in Rolling Stone, and take home $50,000?
Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My main musical inspiration is the Swedish band ABBA. I think their musicality, lyrics, and melody influence my writing in many different ways. I have been so inspired by ABBA and the Swedish music industry, that I previously studied music business abroad there in May of 2024. I also love the bands fun, sparkly and unique performing style and fashion.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
This performance would change my life because being born and raised in NJ, New York City hits incredibly close to home. It is such a lively music scene and because I am heavily influenced by broadway and it’s legends, I’d love to become a part of that community. I also have never been to a festival before… and what a way to get there! Lastly, I’d really love to bring a touch of Nashville, my new home, to the big apple.
What would you do with $50,000?
I would love to give back to my family, who has done so much for me to live my dream in Music City as a singer-songwriter. I’d also love to create an album that will inspire people for lifetimes to come. Lastly, i’d like to put some of the money aside to buy a home/studio space, where I can have an independently owned record label for writers and artists who don’t have access or funds to recording equipment, or are new to the Music Business.
