Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My musical inspiration is my family. My grandmother & mom, Hattie Nabors & Aline Robinson, who of course had us in church, so that's my gospel background. My brother, Jerry "JNABB" Nabors, who is no longer with us on this plane. He introduced me to R&B. And my sister, DeMaria. She was kinda like the vocal coach. And last is my brother D-ROB THE SANGA. We were always working on the vocal training and artist development.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing g at the GCF would impact my career in a tremendous way. The platform and opportunity would shine more light on MS. Not just for the music but the gift that God has given me that I may share it with the world.
What would you do with $50,000?
As an Independent Artist the $50,000 would go towards the research of Pulmonary Lung Disease and Diabetes Awareness. Not only just for the funding of better studio equipment. Coming from a family of five, my second oldest brother Jerry was received early in his life from the Lord due to PLD. My sister, DeMaria who is the only girl out of 4 boys, has been living with Diabetes since 12 yrs of age. Man gave up on our sister, BUT GOD. She's a proud grandmother now and will be 47 this year.
