Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I’ve grown up around music my entire life living in New Orleans. From family members who play in jazz bands, to just riding in the car with my parents or siblings; music has been something that has always riddled my mind. Inevitably all the influence let to me wanting to create my own. I love the feeling I get from listening to, it’s so much emotion that can be conveyed. And I’d love to be able to put that out into the world to share my experiences with others.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at the global citizen festival would have such a positive impact on my career. Not only would it give me the chance to perform in front of a larger audience, but through that it will allow my music to be heard beyond the capacity to which it is held now. I feel like I’m making extremely pivotal work, I feel it would be wonderful for me to get it across to as many ears as possible. Because not only am I the artists, but I’m the producer behind it as well.
What would you do with $50,000?
With $50,000 I would invest in a studio space that would not only benefit me, but the folks that I work with as well. We’d use this space to help further develop not only my career but people following a similar path. As involved as I am with my own career, I feel like helping others would allow me to expand my horizons.
