Who or what is your musical inspiration?
When I was 11, I saw Robyn open for Coldplay in DC. She walked on stage in huge boots, no band, and I heard “Indestructible” and “Call Your Girlfriend” for the first time. I watched that concert on repeat, dreaming of playing that arena one day. A mix of Robyn, Coldplay, and my dad’s favorite, Springsteen, shaped my love for music.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at Global Citizen Festival would be a dream. Sharing the stage with activists I admire would amplify the message I want to bring as a female artist without a straight path. I built a six-figure company just to fund my music journey. I want to show it’s possible to carve your own way, no matter how unconventional.
What would you do with $50,000?
With $50,000, I’d create a video docuseries showcasing the grit of indie music—highlighting the challenges and stories of Nashville’s rising artists. I’d also produce a collaborative EP featuring indie artists I admire, bringing their music into the spotlight and creating something powerful together.
