Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My musical inspiration is representing asians in the underground rap scene. There aren't many asian artists making underground rap, and the ones that do, usually come out as 'corny' or 'unoriginal'. I want to get rid of that asian artist stigma.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at the GCF would allow me to showcase my sound to many new people, which can help give me more exposure to listeners. This would help me grow my platform and audience, giving labels and collectives a higher chance to see my work and possibly want to sign me.
What would you do with $50,000?
I would use the prize money to fund my career (studio sessions, paying producers, new equipment, etc). I would also set aside $25K towards my savings account.
