Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My father was my biggest musical inspiration. He was a self taught musician who played 7 instruments and he taught me everything I know. He taught me how to really listen to everything a song has to offer and to hone in on all of the instruments and harmonies. He also taught me how to really care about my craft. He passed away from cancer and never got to pursue his dream on a big scale but I am still here and will never stop pursuing my dream in honor of him and rock n roll!
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
That would be a huge opportunity! I have played music all of my life, maybe to hundreds of people at most. I am already living the life I want by writing and playing music but I can't imagine the feeling of playing for thousands of people. I think that is most musician's desire. All I have ever wanted is for others to say, hey I love your songs and I connect with them. So to have that kind of exposure would be an amazing opportunity.
What would you do with $50,000?
Honestly, I would put it toward recording my 2nd album with my band and maybe take my family on a vacation.
