Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My musical inspiration is God and my life. I can only tell one story and by the grace of God, I’m here to still tell my life story through my musical gifts. Being from Berkeley, Ca, the Bay Area is also an extremely big musical inspiration to me. There’s no place like the Bay Area. Strong cultural roots that define the musicality and swag of not just California, but the world. Being immersed in such a culturally significant area and putting God first is what inspires Fat $aucy!
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at the Global Citizen Festival will be confirmation that my dedication to my career for the last past 20 years has finally put me in the environment that I know I belong in and worked more than half my life for. Opening doors that I’ve not only dreamed of, but put my blood, sweat and tears into. What would you do with $50,000?
When I win the $50,000, I plan to invest 60% back into my community and various charities I work with. I plan to invest the remaining 40% into my music career to build a lifelong legacy for myself, my children and my team.
