Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My musical inspiration is all over the place, much like my music taste. I listen to everything, from Funk carioca to Neo soul and everything in between! Some artists to note, however, are Lauryn Hill, Alicia Keys, Keyshia Cole, Megan Thee Stallion, City and Colour, H.E.R., and many, many more.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It would get me the exposure that I believe is the only thing I need to make my dreams of being a touring singer/songwriter a reality. I’ve worked on my lyricism, my voice, my vision, and perfecting my craft for 19 years now, so all I really need is more people to listen to my music and inspire me to create even more! I believe I have a lot of love and wisdom to share with my current and future fans, so I’d love to share that love and those messages with them at the Global Citizen Fe
What would you do with $50,000?
I would put half of it into a high yield savings account and use the rest to help put my boyfriend of 2 years and I through grad school, help my family financially, and travel the world with my man as well. It would certainly be a life changing amount of money for myself and my family as well.
