Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I’m inspired by the great artists in history, but Frank Sinatra and Amy Winehouse are my greatest inspirations. I’m inspired by pain, as well as by love. I’m inspired by good music and well-versed musicians and enthusiasts.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
The opportunity to be on a stage in front of a number of people that want to hear you perform is the dream of any musician. To be able to demonstrate my musicianship live is all I want. To put on a good show, and make people have a great time - that is the whole point. The visibility and content from it could also highly propel one’s social media.
What would you do with $50,000?
I’d pay my University tuition, buy myself a pair of Genelecs, a Gibson SG Ebony and a Mac mini.
