Who or what is your musical inspiration?
Lupe Fiasco, Mos Def, Outkast, Busta Rhymes, the sounds of birds chirping, brooks babbling. Musical inspiration also comes from our lived experience. We are Haitian, Lebanese, Mexican, and Queer. The music and intricacies of our respective cultures manifest themselves to in our music to create a universally understood and undeniable experience.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
We want our music to be appreciated throughout the world, so performing at the Global Citizen Festival would be a step in the right direction. It'd give us a chance to perform for a bigger audience than we've seen up to this point & engage in a beautiful exchange of energies.
What would you do with $50,000?
With 50,000, we would invest in the longevity of FreeBloo&theFreak. Purchase some new equipment, use it to rent a studio space, and throw some incredible shows in our hometown.
