Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I’m inspired by artists who blend sound and vision into immersive experiences—The Flaming Lips, Radiohead, Bowie, Beck, Sigur Rós, Tycho, Aphex Twin. I’m drawn to music that feels cinematic and transcendent, both live and online. Lyrically, I look to storytellers like Jeff Tweedy and Josh Tillman—artists who can disarm you with honesty, then drop you into something strange and beautiful.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at Global Citizen would be a seismic shift. We’re at the precipice—our live band is dialed in, new records are coming, and our audio/visual world is fully realized after nearly two decades of evolution. This stage would amplify our vision, expand our reach, and align us with a global movement that values art with purpose. It’s not just exposure—it’s fuel.
What would you do with $50,000?
We’d fund new records—studio time, production, and paying the band—plus invest in gear and a trailer to tour. We’re also building a full-length multimedia series that drops every full moon; with $50K, we’d bring in animators, visual artists, and collaborators to grow an immersive creative ecosystem.
