Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My music inspiration comes from my dad. He was a drummer before I was born. He’s still a drummer today. Growing up I was always around music. My dad was in multiple bands and played multiple genres. Because of my dad I loved music more than the average kid. Without help and using my ears I taught myself to play the guitar at a young age. I then taught myself electronic music when I was in my 20’s. My dad has always been my biggest inspiration besides my daughters.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at the festival would really be like a dream come true it would help me feel more confident in myself and also spread my message through music. It will also help me network with other artists and people from around the world.
What would you do with $50,000?
I lost two daughters to premature births and will donate some money to the children’s hospital that helped me and also to the Ronald McDonald foundation that helped. I also have $28,000 in student loans that the $50,000 could help me with. I would ask my parents if they need money also because without them I would not be here. Music is my passion and my therapy. I will absolutely buy some new music equipment with any money left over.
