Who or what is your musical inspiration?
Each path of a person I come across, on deeper level, inspires me to create for that path. I wouldn’t wear flip flops to hike a snowy tundra, so just like the music I make I lace up for the journey that song is leading towards. Sometimes there are journeys we take that flip flops or bare feet are completely feasible and I’m able to metaphorically take May shoes off for that journey or experience.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Music is about connection and being able to connect with the live audience that Global Citizen Festival brings will allow an experience not just for me but for every ear that hears the lyrics, every chest that feels the vibrations of that bass, every heart open to receive the connection that the performance of my music has to offer and explosion of energy and good vibes.
What would you do with $50,000?
I’m going to invest in creating an album, press campaign with merch (including a food truck for festival), a small podcast series to help promote the albums tour for even more traction as time goes on. This investment is one right back into the growth of the music industry and all its patrons.
