Who or what is your musical inspiration?
Lizzy McAlpine is one of my favorite writers, along with Jensen McRae, Cece Coakley, Annika Bennett, and Carol Ades. I feel like they put everything into their music: all the feelings, the heartbreak, the happiness… and you can really feel it. That’s what I want to do.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
As it would for anyone, this would change my life. It would allow me to get my music in front of a huge audience, most of them never hearing of me before.
What would you do with $50,000?
I would hopefully buy some new recording equipment, so I can better record my songs and release them. I’d also use it to pay rent, pay for gas, bills, etc… but that’s the boring stuff.
