Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I draw a lot of inspiration from events in my life. I love Mac Miller so there’s a lot of his influence in my music. I think there’s a lot of vibes in music that I love that end up perpetuating in the music I create. Smashing pumpkins, pixies, flume, Smino, ab soul, Kendrick Lamar, Duran Duran, Roy Hargrove, miles Davis, bel biv devoe, Lee fields & the expressions, SiR, Terrace Martin, Kamasi Washington, Elena Pinderhughes, Samara Cyn. List goes on….
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Probably would be pretty fuckin crazy.
What would you do with $50,000?
Pay off my dad’s house. Travel with the rest of it, make more music.
