Who or what is your musical inspiration?
Before we got into music our mother was a singer, dancer and actress. She loved the arts and it naturally grew on us. When we weren’t siting on the couch watching the temptations and Jackson 5 movie, our mother would have have us waking up early in the morning as kids to rehearse our dance steps while our dad would help us memorize our songs. Knowing how much she loves music and how much love we have received from our family and friends it’s really them who we’re doing it for.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It would mean the world to us to showcase our talent. We’ve put a lot of time money and effort into this. From kids skipping out on school to perform at other elementary schools with the Charlotte bobcats mascot to us taking a risk and moving to LA to sleep in a car and get a distribution deal in a matter of months, to driving 10hours to Miami to be featured on Druski show, all the hungry cold nights of staying up late trying to make it happen will finally feel like it was worth it.
What would you do with $50,000?
INVEST!! This $50,000 will NOT be divided amongst us instead put into a pot and strategically planned out and used as an investment for our careers. As a group we’ve came up with a well thought out 6 months campaign a few months back, and this will just boost it! With us being independent artist it’s hard to work a job keep up with our bills while still trying to pursue a dream. Of course that won’t stop us but the $50,000 will help us separate our life from our dreams and make
