Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I take a lot of inspiration by artists I grew up with such as Charli XCX, Lady Gaga, Britney Spears, and Madonna. I admire women in pop because of the level of commitment and nerve it takes, no one does it like the girlies. I strive to be that level of artistry and bring a sense of belonging to my community through fun and honest music making and production.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It would give me a platform to share my art with people for the first time as Geovanni. I’ve been involved in musical theatre and choirs for a while, but want to step into a more personal role from here on out of being “the party boy who never makes it to the party” - a moto of mine. What would you do with $50,000?
I would pay off my student loans as I am about $30,000 (not exact) in debt from my time at university. I got my BFA in Art Education, with my minor in Vocal Performance at Arizona State University, graduating this May of 2025. Along with that I would use the money to leave Arizona, as I have been here my whole life and feel trapped here. I aspire to move to Chicago or California to pursue my music career by Fall of this year.
