Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I get a lot of inspiration from other artists I have listened to growing up. People like Cavetown, Mitski, Beabadoobee, Laufey and Hozier all come to mind. I get inspired more close to home by my own experiences and relationships. I use music as an outlet to express how I'm feeling, and I hope that it can help anyone who ends up listening!
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It would let me do something I have never dreamed of doing. I want to make it with a music career, and this would ensure that. It would let me share something I am so passionate about with many people.
What would you do with $50,000?
I would finally buy a mic and better equipment for production. Right now I have my MacBook with Garageband on it, and that's what I produce music on. I would finally get an electric guitar because I love how the electric guitar sounds, but I can't afford one right now. I would definitely spend a portion on getting a team together so I don't have to do things like marketing but myself anymore. The rest I want to give to mental health and autism research, as that is something important to me.
