Who or what is your musical inspiration?
Many artists, impossible to chose only one. I fell in love with MTV as a child, Last dance with Mart Jane from Tom Oetty & The Heartbreakers was the first music video I had ever seen when I was just 8, I was hooked, so bad that my father had spent hours on the tv with the cable company to block MTV. He would also hang my cd's from trees and shoot them with BB guns. All I wanted to do was sing for all and listen to music.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Its the way I make people feel when I am performing. Thats why I dont stop and have thankfully Continued to be successful. Its amazing when you can do something and feel something magical, and somehow everyone around you, can feel it too.
What would you do with $50,000?
I really need a car, probably a small used astro van for band equipement and promoting our bands originals and a day at disneyland with my kids to celebrate.
