Who or what is your musical inspiration?
We are heavily inspired by the grunge bands of the early 90s, but we wouldn't say we sound a lot like them. Bands like Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Metallica, Black Sabbath, Paramore, Foo Fighters, and The Warning are some of our biggest influences, but we will sometimes take inspiration from other artists like The Beatles, Sade, or Jeff Buckley.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
The Global Citizen Festival would likely be the catalyst that kickstarts our career. Supporting Global Citizen's mission of ending extreme poverty is in line with our career goals as well. Some of our music is about bringing awareness to similar causes, so playing a life-changing show that supports those causes would be allowing us more opportunities and resources to help others. Our career is just getting started, so having the opportunity to play for so many people would be a dream come true.
What would you do with $50,000?
$50,000 is a lot of money. We would use a very small portion of that money to buy ourselves in IEM system so we can improve our live shows. Next, we use another portion of that money to host a small, local music festival of our own to raise money for charities that support all of the same causes we advocate for in our music. We want to elevate our art, elevate our fellow artists, and elevate our community in any way we possibly can.
