Who or what is your musical inspiration?
As a Mexican American, I have many musical inspirations. I grew up listening to a variety of music in both Spanish and English. From Latin Pop and Regional Mexican music to pop, country, R&B, EDM and jazz music. I draw inspiration from many genres and artists that reflect both sides of my culture.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at the Global Citizen Festival would be a huge milestone in my career. It’s a worldwide platform where not only very talented artists are showcased but an organization that promotes unity, positivity and change as well. Having the opportunity to perform would give my music exposure to a global audience and a chance to represent my roots on a worldwide stage. It would help me connect with more people and allow me to showcase how music is a universal language and has no borders.
What would you do with $50,000?
With $50,000, I would donate 20% to a meaningful cause. As an independent artist with no sponsors, I would invest the rest of the money into my music career (covering production, promotion, and opportunities to grow my platform and reach more listeners).
