Who or what is your musical inspiration?
The inspiration from my sound/style comes from all the beautiful female vocalist in the pop/dance music space. From Hailee Steinfeld, Jess Gylnne, RAYE, and Maren Morris, the list goes. But the inspiration to chase my dreams comes from my wonderfully supportive family. My family has always been really close and a little crazy at times, but I couldn't ask for more supportive and nurturing people to help guide me on this journey.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at the Global Citizen Festival would help give me some much needed exposure to help grow my social media presence. Having a strong social media presence is so important as an artist because it allows you to network as well as find fans, but it can be hard to break through low views. It would also help me build my confidence because performing my own music in front of a large crowd would be such a milestone moment.
What would you do with $50,000?
I would reinvest this money into my craft. Right now I spend 1 hr per week recording and producing the music I write in a studio. With this money I would put more hours in the studio as well as invest in vocal lessons. My dream vocal coach would be "Mama Cheryl" (Cheryl Porter) from Tik Tok. Her videos are great but the opportunity to work with her in person and get feedback would help bring my vocals to the next level.
