Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My musical inspirations are Teddy Riley, Timbaland, and Missy Elliot, in which I was groomed by all three. I was with Teddy Riley for 3 years, then got picked up By Timbaland which groomed me. I later became his protégé for many years working closely alongside him. Later, Missy Elliot took an ear to my sound and music, and took me under her wing taking the time to groom me as well.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
I feel it will open up new doors and opportunities to meet and connect/network with those with the same mission, which is to reach and touch the world with and through music! It can also help with putting a face with the music I’ve already done, and reach the masses again!
What would you do with $50,000?
With this money, I will be able to build my musical workspace even more with more tools and instruments I’ve always wanted and need in order to have access to more resources to increase musical productivity, and make music that reaches the masses. I would also like to donate a portion to my church as well!
