Who or what is your musical inspiration?
We’re inspired by a lot of bands in Austin, TX. The underground scene right now is so great, there are so many good bands. We’re so appreciative of the community we’ve found ourselves in who support us endlessly. We get inspired every time we go to a show or have a show, and it motivates us to do what we set out to accomplish in life and in music, leave something behind that lasts way past our lifetimes.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
We believe it would provide great opportunities and corral in the people who genuinely like our music. It would not only give us a larger audience to play for, hopefully inspire others, but also help develop us as a band by getting that experience.
What would you do with $50,000?
We would donate $5,000 (10%) to the charity we as a band agree upon. We would also host a charity event/show and get Austin bands to join in support of raising awareness for the charity we decide to go with. We would also use the money to help us move into cleaner, more stable homes, as well as buy new band equipment and much needed studio time. We have so many songs we want to share, we only have demos and rough mixes recorded at the moment.
