Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My musical inspirations include Amy Winehouse, Fleetwood Mac, Billie Eilish, Lana Del Rey, The Killers, and Arctic Monkeys. I grew up on country radio, where I fell in love with storytelling and connecting through music. After losing my dad to cancer at age 9, I turned to songwriting to process grief and create the music I needed to hear. That experience shaped my voice, my purpose, and my passion as an artist.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Having only performed publicly for the first time two years ago, playing the Global Citizen Festival would validate my journey, elevate my path, and help me gain recognition in the artist community in Nashville. It would open so many doors, expand my reach, and allow me to connect with more people through my writing—creating space for impact, change, and inspiration through music.
What would you do with $50,000?
I’d invest in producing and promoting my music—recording, touring, building a team, and creating powerful, compelling visual art. I’d also partner with nonprofit writer’s rounds in Nashville to sponsor events and offer resources, insight, and inspiration to fellow singer-songwriters—empowering more voices to rise and shape the future of music.
