The name Held Captive can sound somewhat aggressive when paired with a heavier sound. Held captive, To us, signifies the struggles we’ve been paired with in life and how we feel held Captive to our environment and struggles. Using our pain to bring comeuppance and awareness in our lives and our community.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Hopefully it would draw more people to our messaging and our music. It would also give a bunch of hardworking guys an opportunity to have their voices and music be seen and heard on a global level. Hopefully it would push us to new highs in our careers.
What would you do with $50,000?
We could use this money to upgrade equipment, pay for studio time to record new music. It could help us create more opportunity to be more successful in a tough time to be a traveling or touring band.
