Who or what is your musical inspiration?
Being born in Philadelphia and raised just outside the city, I was deeply inspired by its rich musical legacy—from Gamble and Huff, The O’Jays, and John Coltrane to Questlove, Black Thought, DJ Jazzy Jeff, and The Heath Brothers. Their artistry and impact shaped my love for music and made me want to pursue this path. The city’s culture, sound, and history continue to drive my creativity and purpose.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at the Global Citizen Festival would elevate my career by connecting my music to a global platform focused on purpose and impact. It would amplify my message, expand my audience, and align my artistry with social change—opening doors to future collaborations, touring opportunities, and greater visibility as both a musician and advocate.
What would you do with $50,000?
With $50,000, I would finally build my team with experts in PR, marketing, bookings, and other essential areas beyond performance and recording. Having a solid, experienced team would take a huge weight off my shoulders and allow my career to grow to its full potential—helping me reach new audiences, release impactful projects, and achieve the goals I’ve always envisioned.
