Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My musical inspiration started with my mom and dad who introduced myself and my brothers to all sorts of soul, jazz and gospel music. Outside of my family my musical inspirations were stars like Michael Jackson, Outkast, Nas, Tribe Called Quest, Tupac & Biggie to name a few. Although this is the foundation of my musical inspiration I have evolved into DJ Artist like Kaskade, Diplo, Bob Sinclair, Kaytranada & Idris Elba my favorite.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing for the Global Citizen Festival would impact my career greatly. I have invested so much into my career let alone the careers of others around me. I have done that so when my time to shine or share my talent with a bigger audience would come I would be ready. I have no doubt the Global Citizen Festival would catapult my career and put my overall dream in motion. My music, my brand and my passion would be seen and heard by millions. The impact would be astronomical.
What would you do with $50,000?
As a full time DJ artist I know how hard it can be to keep and raise capital. I would invest the money directly into my brand, my music, as well use it to fuel some new opportunites and collaborations. I would take a portion of it to update my website, and partner with some social media organizations to enhance my social reach. Lastly, I would create partnerships globally and donate a percentage back to support other artist in my field through my own nonprofit Impossibleme.org
