Who or what is your musical inspiration?
Inspirations range from Kelis, Rihanna & Kylie Minogue. To writers and producers like Bloodshy & Avant, The Neptunes, SOPHIE. I take inspiration from a plethora of sounds and see where they connect. In order to create what I create. I spend a lot of time researching genre, writing & production. Writers such as Ester Dean, Ravaughn & Bonnie McKee are also huge inspirations for me.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at Global Citizen would show the world that l transness can reach big stages. It would impact my outreach to a larger audiences. I think it’s about time. A real underdog shows the world who exactly they are and what they can do. I’m that underdog.
What would you do with $50,000?
With $50k, I would essentially reinvest in my music. Every little penny I make goes into the music production, videos & performances. As well as the promotion. My goal as an artist is to use everything I can to express and to give quality for the young lgbt to look up to. I would also give back to my local community that have supported me all this time. I intend on always providing quality music and content. It’s part of my work ethos.
