Who or what is your musical inspiration?
Our musical inspiration is honestly- sorry if this is cheesy- our collaborative friendship and overall love for the game. We are the epitome of "never giver-uppers" and both work in fields relating to music. I, Ezra Pounds am a private violin pedagogy instructor, and G is a sales manager for Guitar Center. Together we find time throughout every week to discuss and listen to what's new in sound, as well as reminisce the golden oldies.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It would allow us to seek resources toward making our recorded music sound as professional as possible, despite already having developed skillsets in engineering, production, mixing, and even video editing ourselves. We are always on the move towards reaching better audiences and peering at a resurgent passion in promoting how we work. The hardest part of it all is finding the time, most weeks.
What would you do with $50,000?
We would split it and fund our next two albums that have been in the works for the past couple of months. So far we have developed lots of new sounds out of our existing niche- and lively instrumentals- with the intent to write and record with ease and pristine intention. Something we would love to also put money towards are professional pictures as well as videography/direction for music videos.
