Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My inspiration comes from the desire to create music that people can relate to in different moments of their lives. From heartbreak to struggle to victory to a night out in the club. Music should connect with us on a multitude of levels and be there for all the moments
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
I was signed to LL COOL J and had achieved the step of being heard by a legend and signing a record deal that most will only dream of, as I once did too. The poor timing of him joining the NCIS cast was devastating. Although everything happens for a reason, I’ve always known I had a gift and a unique ability to create music that people of all different walks of life connect to. What would you do with $50,000?
The exposure from the festival is worth its weight in gold. I would commit to donating the $50,000 to a local youth music program or towards the creation of a music program within a children’s organization such as a YMCA, Boys & Girls Club, United Way, etc $50,000 wouldn’t change my life but it could provide the opportunity to change so many children’s lives through music
