Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My inspiration is Ariana Grande. Her albums have got me through a tough time in my life where I had lost my best friend and first love. I studied her vocal techniques and made them my own. When I started music my biggest aspiration was to do what Ariana did for me for someone else. Her music kept me grounded during panic attacks, gave me something to cry to, be happy to, to mourn the loss of my first love to, and I believe I am successfully heading down that path to do the same for someone else.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing the Global Citizen Festival would give me the exposure I need to become a main stream artist. My dream is to win a Grammy someday and performing would put me one stop closer to being in the room with the greats. It would also give me the opportunity to be recognized for all the hard work of I’ve put into to every song I’ve ever released.
What would you do with $50,000?
If I win the 50,000 the first thing I would do is help my parents out. They have been in a tough financial situation for a few years now and they still find a way to pay for anything I need such as vocal lessons and studio sessions. But I would use to rest of the money to further my career.
