Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My musical inspiration varies from Tupac and michael Jackson to Bob Marley and Miles Davis. I’m inspired by great story tellers who can move people with their words, music and stage presence.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It would prove me right. It would prove that little voice in my head that I was right to keep going, that I was right when I didn’t give up, that I was right to choose this path.
What would you do with $50,000?
I would invest in my independent record label and my career. The money would give me the ability to touch more people with the music. Plant a flag in my city and show the next generation that anything is possible!
