Who or what is your musical inspiration?
reggaeton of the early 2000s. Latin-carribean influenced beats and sounds from the likes of Wisin y Yandel, Daddy Yankee, Don Omar all equally played a critical role in my musical identity. Once American culture came into my life, 2007 MTV broadcasting Lil Wayne forever changed what music meant to me as a child. Lyrical abilities to pull on listeners heart strings, visualize the words being said is my objective. Finally, Kurt Cobain showed me what it meant to leave it all on the line sonically
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
I will do my best to get all my friends and family to show up and finally see me do something I love. Hopefully showing them a piece of myself I’m more so reserved with and do on my free time alone. I live to be on a stage, I feel like the simple idea of rocking out in Central Park would invigorate my soul to do bigger and better things. It will be my proof that I know myself.
What would you do with $50,000?
Ideally I would donate it all to a cause, but realistically it can help me stay afloat past poverty. I do not seek material as much as I seek stability, I’d love to help who i can as I help myself, money is just a tool.
