Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My musical inspiration is Lana Del Rey. I seek to express my feelings of nostalgic sorrow in the same way she does in her music. We don't necessarily sing about the same things but the way in which she parodies her own qualities in her songs I wish to parody my own quality of lonesomeness that is coupled with me being a hopeless romantic who is still obsessed with someone existing deeply in my past.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
I think performing at this event would give me an opportunity to show an audience the kind of person I am. I've mainly played classical instrumental music in the past but it was limited in showcasing the way I express my emotions. I am very stoic and also sarcastic and I think showcasing this to a large audience would help me better understand myself and the way I fit into this world.
What would you do with $50,000?
I'd first spend $8,000 on a master instrument (likely a handmade Collings acoustic guitar). Then $7000 to purchase a Nord Stage 4. Then about $3300 I would use to pay off and close out my credit cards (I can't be trusted with credit). I would use the next $1500 to pay off my parents for back spent rent. The remaining balance I would put onto my $42,000 student loan and if my math is right (which it oughta be because I have 2 degrees in accounting) I would be left with $11,800 in loans.
