Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I have had a pretty rough life due to an underlying mental illness. I use music as a conduit by which I can express myself. In a way, the struggle I face day-to-day inspires me to better my craft, and to continue writing.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at the Global Citizen Festival would change my life... It would make me feel as though my music actually had a chance at making it. It feels like such a pipe dream at the moment, the festival would serve as a major form of motivation for my future works.
What would you do with $50,000?
As crazy as it may sound, I'm a huge enviroment-buff. While I'd keep about 10,000 dollars of the winnings, I would donate the other 40 ish thousand dollars to a charity comitted to cleaning up the worlds oceans.
