Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My biggest inspiration is life itself. The love, the loss, the lessons. I’m inspired by Black culture, my culture. From the sounds I grew up on, to the soul in every note, it lives in everything I create. There are so many artists and influences that have shaped me, but what drives me most is the emotion, storytelling, and spirit behind music. I make what I feel, and I feel deeply.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at the Global Citizen Festival would be life-changing. It would be a statement. It would validate EVERYTHING I’ve fought for and open doors I used to only dream about. I’d be seen, heard, and aligned with a cause bigger than myself. It would amplify my message, connect me to a global audience, and solidify that I’m not just chasing this, I’m meant for it.
What would you do with $50,000?
$50,000 would change everything. I’d invest in my music, studio time, production, visuals, marketing… the tools I’ve never fully had access to. I’d finally be able to distribute my art at the level it deserves. I’d also take care of my family, the people who’ve held me down when I had nothing. This wouldn’t just be money, it’d be freedom. Fuel. The start.
