Who or what is your musical inspiration?
Firstly, my father Lamar J Sapp for sparking my journey as a writer. It was the best way for me to express myself growing up. Secondly, reciting the results of those writings in my school’s lunchroom were the second set off of sparks. This gave me the push to continue exploring my unique offerings. Lastly but not least, I’d say my mom, my number one supporter, she makes sure to remind me with old material of mine that she’s still in love with my sound until this very day.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at the Global Citizen Festival will impact my career as it’s been difficult to get eyes on the art without much of a marketing budget. My work ethic and my musical abilities will shine in front of the masses as it does in front of just 10 people.
What would you do with $50,000?
With $50,000, I will continue to share progressive and powerful messaging through musicianship and innovative campaigning.
