Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My musical inspiration is a confluence of intimate emotional depth, powerful anthemic expression and poetic language. I try my be to weave all that into my own creative voice. The list of artists that have inspired me and are my heroes is endless, but top 3 would probably be Willie nelson (his lyrics are magical), U2 (best band of all time) and The Tragically Hip!
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
I hope it would Blow up! Performing live and sharing my lyrics, my music, my ideas with that many people would be incredible. It is what I have been dreaming about for years, the day I could actually make this a career. I could maybe land a record deal or make connections with the right people, performing at the Global Citizen Festival would truly change my life.
What would you do with $50,000?
Probably buy another guitar then re invest most of it into my music career!
