Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My musical inspiration came from experiencing trauma at an early age. I never felt comfortable talking about my problems to others so I made songs about them. Polo G also sparked my interest in music. My very first song was a remix to one of his. I can relate to his music in many ways.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Even if I don’t win, putting myself out there could potentially gain me the notoriety I need to be heard and understood on levels I’ve never experienced before. I know there’s other people out there who go through what I do. I hope to help them understand it’s ok to be different and to feel misunderstood. Everybody is different in their own special way however we all feel the same emotions some are just better at hiding it than others.
What would you do with $50,000?
I would use it to pursue my music career even further and to also help take care of my mother the same way she’s taken care of me for all these years. Additionally to take care of myself and everybody who has a place in my heart. I want to be able to provide for all my loved ones and put everybody in a position to win.
