Who or what is your musical inspiration?
The inspiration is two fold; Primarily, the actual music must grab the listener from the opening chord then it's up to the writer to communicate his message; Whether it’s about relationships, social and/political issues… keep it relevant with great music. My inspirations grew as I grew with the following artists and music from Motown,Buffalo Springfield, CSNY, Phil Spector,Jason Isbel and of course, Dylan
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
The festival is great exposure but it’s like any important opportunity, it must be capitalized and harnessed to a career that’s been in the works for years and when the big event is completed, it’s the follow up that’s equally as important!
What would you do with $50,000?
Set up a small,Midwestern 8 city tour following the Global Citizen Festival. Pick and hire a small 4 piece tour band and donate half of the proceeds from the tour to the city’s homeless shelters.
